Clinic Updates on the COVID-19 Virus

Even though the state indoor mask mandate is being lifted on March 12, 2022, Veterinary Cancer & Surgery Specialists (VCSS) will continue to require masks when entering our facility. The good news is that we will be allowing clients into our facility on a limited basis.

For the last two years, we have been operating with curbside service in order to ensure we are doing all we can to protect the health and safety of our staff in order to keep our doors open to serve our clients and our patients. Our intent is to move forward with cautious optimism but will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our policies as needed.

We will continue to do curbside check-in. We ask that you remain in your vehicle upon arrival to VCSS and text or call to alert our staff of your arrival. Once your pet has been checked in by one of our nursing staff, new patients and clients will be escorted into one of our exam rooms for consultation with the doctor. If you do not wish to come into the building, then we will accommodate this consultation either by phone or outside in person, weather permitting. Masks must be worn at all times in our facility. We encourage everyone who can to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Bathrooms will be open for client use, but we ask that you maintain social distancing if you come into the building.

Our waiting area will remain closed for the time being. We appreciate your understanding.

With gratitude,
All of us at VCSS

“Such a kind and caring collection of people! It wasn’t great circumstances that brought us to see them, but they’ve all worked together to make my family feel exceptionally well cared for.”
